i2CAT is a non-profit technology centre continuously promoting R+D+i activities within the ICT industry. The centre stands up for a new model in a new conception of innovation: the collaboration between companies, public administration, the academic environment and end-users.

The National Centre for Scientific Research Demokritos (NCSRD) is the biggest research centre in applied sciences and engineering in Greece and it is a self-governing research organisation, under the supervision of the Greek Government. NCSRD consists of five Institutes spanning a broad range of activities, and of divisions responsible for administrative and technical support. Staff sums up to about 800 persons, including about 100 graduate students working towards a Ph.D. degree. It is the home of the Greek National Host and a major node in the Greek National Research and Technology Network (GR-Net).

InnoRoute is an SME specialized in IP/Ethernet packet processing with special focus on QoS. InnoRoute solutions target fixed and mobile networks, especially at the network edges, where fast fibre network backbone ends in many small bandwidth channels. Its products are IP cores for packet processing and network devices. InnoRoute strengths are HW/SW development with emphasis on FPGA, firmware and board.
INCITES Consulting SARL is an SME company established in Luxembourg. INCITES Consulting SARL was founded on May 2013 and its main activities rely on telecommunications technoeconomics, regulatory economics and policies, demand forecasting, business and price modelling.
JCP-Connect (previously JCP-Consult) is a French SME with strong technical experience in audio-visual technology and content delivery solutions. JCP-Connect has contributed to R&D and to standardization in these technologies, through chairmanship of different groups and active participation to several bodies (DVB, DAVIC, ETSI ECCA, and CableLabs).
The University of Essex is one of the United Kingdom’s premier universities, ranking amongst the UK top ten for the quality of its research in the recent national research assessment exercise. Headed by Prof. Stuart Walker, the Access Networks Group (ANG) is part of the large photonics research team within the school of Computer science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE). The ANG specialises in applying wireless and optical technologies to future access networking infrastructures, with highly energy-efficient technologies of particular interest.
